Yes, it really happened. Oh shit.

First up, United were absolutely stunning. The majority of the goals were of the highest class. Hats off, caps doffed etc. etc.
Secondly, Arsenal were absolutely shambolic, there was no leadership, little passion or desire, and no defence what so ever. Johann Djourou has turned into just about as big a liability as Sebastian Squillaci and Armand Traore was a complete embarrassment to the club.
It is in games like this that some youngsters never recover, their confidence too shattered or belief stamped so far into the mud it never re-appears. Carl Jenkinson seems like a happy go-lucky sort of guy, I hope at 19 this game doesn’t mark the point where he stopped rising towards his progression to fulfilling his undoubted potential.
Arsene Wenger should never have put him in that position, maybe the same goes for Traore and definitely Aaron Ramsey – whilst he is obviously talented, he is pissing in the wind at the moment. There is no authority in our midfield, nobody that commands respect. We simply get over-run.
Neglect. It is a strong word that I have used before when it has come to our defence. Arsene hasn’t just neglected our defence, he has neglected our entire team.
Forgive me for not wanting to say much more right now but there will be something of greater detail later on in the week once the transfer window has shut. For now, Arsene has to get his business done, and make sure that it is the ‘super quality’ players he is forever banging on about whilst loading the squad with Chamakh’s, Silvestre’s and Squillaci’s.
The superb away fans deserve better, and have done for some time now. We aren’t asking for miracles. Get it sorted.

Spurs fan here, have to say I actually have a lot of respect for arsenal as a club. You are a proper football club and in a day and age of chelseas and man cities, its actually saddening me to see you lot in such crisis. I never thought I’d start softening towards you lot but I genuinely am! Wenger, as its been said, NEEDS to reinvest ALL of the Fabregas and Nasri money back into the first team if you’re going to have any chance of claiming 4th and with the current economic climate, player prices through the roof, all I can see him doing again is signing more youngsters and gradually nurturing them through to the first team again. Go out and put in a mega-bid for a proven premier leage goal-scorer (maybe Berbatov) and an experienced hardened central midfield leader (maybe Lass return) and two solid centre halves to compete with Vermaelen when he’s back fit. Squilaci and Kosielny are both as bad as Cygan and Senderos were! New LB, maybe look at bringing in the apparently-surplus Bosingwa from Chelsea and playing him at LB? Keeper looks solid for once, just need some balls at the back!
Another bollocks article whining about how disastrous AFC are and how bad Wenger is! This wasn’t an Arsenal team without Vermaelen, Wilshere, Gervinho, Frimpong, Song, Gibbs, Sagna, Diaby, all first team players. It was a reserve team playing against the top EPL team at the moment…a forgone conclusion right!
We can forgive you for not saying more now and we hope you won’t say anything later as you’re wasting our time!
AKBs ARE CRAZY. RESERVE TEAM, RESERVE TEAM MY ….
MANCHESTER ALSO FIELDED THEIR RESERVE TEAM DUE TO INJURIES. THE ONLY MANU PLAYERS FROM THEIR FIRST TEAM LAST YEAR WERE: EVRA AND ROONEY. STOP THE EXCUSES, ARSENAL IS A SECOND CLASS CLUB DUE TO SECON CLASS SUPPORTERS LIKE YOU.
I hope the AKBs follow Wenger when he gets sacked come Christmas.
Now, now boys and girls, let’s play nicely!
Well Wenger said he would bring in a defender, a striker and a midfielder and we now have two of them.
Just the midfielder to go and thats us done.
So no centre-back then…….
When you’re right, you’re right.
