A few musings ahead of the Birmingham game:
We really need to bring back the energy and pressing we employed to such great effect against Chelsea, harry Birmingham off the pitch and do not underestimate them at all. They are more than capable of beating us and really messing up our chances.
If we could afford to draw a game, we have already done that and thus this game is now a must win. No ground to be lost and its all there to be gained. No sloppyness, just get out there and get the damn job done.
We are well capable of winning the title despite this team not really being special yet, we will have the chances and we must take them – by 8PM tonight we could be sitting in a very nice position in the table… or perilously close to our most loathed rivals.
I will be back tomorrow evening with a few thoughts.

I agree it’s the lack of winning mentality that’s the real problem.
However that’s not something u can acquire overnight, or in some cases, at all. (e.g. Diaby, denilson, almunia).
I’ll know if we can win this once the team sheet is announced.
Anythong less than 3 points will be a total let down, especially after making the eight changes at Wigan. 3-1 to the Arsenal.

Just read your blog there king gooner and you was spot on with your prediction 5hrs before kick off,you actually named all the guilty birmingham culprits well done.Arsenal give their best performance of the season yesterday and showed real championship credentials.If we show that energy,believe,workrate,hunger,desire,character,class offensively and defensively we will win this.I could single 1 or 2 out for special praise but then id have to single out 9 or 10 others.Well done Arsenal i love yous and im a very proud gooner.Birmingham that was simply disgraceful and sad to see yous havent learned how to behave after your previous countless poor behaviour.shame on yous.
Birmingham employed rough tactics and everyone was so pumped up they were going over the top. They should havehad 3 players sent off or sickening challenges.
However Arsenal stood upto the task and did them 3-0 in their own back yard. That is the best way to stick it to them.
Listen Stoke, Birmingham, Sunderland… Rough arm tactics do not work.
