So, its Barcelona then. Not a bad draw for a number of reasons if you ask me: A) If we are going to go far in the competition we might as well get the big games out of the way first. B) It will be one hell of a game to watch. C) If we have to face either one of Barca or United, I’d take Barca.
There is plenty of time to chat about it in the next couple of weeks. If I had the funding, I’d be over there like a shot, flying in in the morning/afternoon – drinking, game-watching then catching the first flight home.

Bloody wish I was going!!! I predicted Arsenal v Barcalona beforehand and was thrilled to bits when they announced it – this was the tie I really wanted most.
Why? Becauase it will be the most interesting.
Both teams like to keep the ball on the deck, keep possession, play themselves out of defence and have some great skillful players on the ball who create a bit of magic. I’m betting it will be quite a spectacle, but not all that high scoring as some have said.
Pity that all this build up has been undermined by the BBC’s subtle favouritism towards Man United in the CL. It really grinds my gears to see a broadcaster, touting its impartiality, to favour teams like they do. They could at least try.

The BBC are a waste of space sometimes, can’t stand the obnoxious pricks! If all doesn’t go to plan for us, United do have a friendly side of the draw and I can see them in the final again sadly. We could have a repeat of last season.

i am scared shitless of barca. i just feel like we will be thoroughly humiliated away from home. their stadium is so huge and the noise of their fans will just blow our boys away.i fear for the likes of Walcott who seem to lack confidence.i can see messi running rounds around Campbell. oh my god we are going to to be embarrassed.we dont even have a good golie to count on.we are doomed.
