Rodgers is a standard League 1/2 defender.

He won’t make it in the Premier League, and even if Villa did offer him a trial, you can guarantee that they wouldn’t take him on.

I believe what Goonblogger’s posted because it’s in Rodgers’ personality to say that kind of thing. And if he’s had a few drinks, it doesn’t come to any surprise at all.
