Ive heard that Arsenal actually did consider the offer for Niklas Bendtner from German league leaders Hoffenheim.
It was actually Niklas Bendtner that didn’t want to go but Arsenal’s willingness to listen to offers for the striker could be a sign that Andrei Arshavin may well be on his way as we would really have a surplus of talent in attacking areas (apart from out wide).
I have no idea as to the amount that Hoffenheim were willing to offer for the Dane but ive told you what ive been told so watch this space.
Right, i will be back to normal blogging so the next one will be here at just gone 12 tonight.
Til then.

Hoffenheim’s got some pretty good money since their owner is a billionaire and they need a striker since Ibisevic is out. I’d loan out Bendtner to them now since Eduardo is back because as much as I think Bendtner is a mediocre player, he’s a pretty good super sub and that can come in handy. Hoffenheim has some great attack, maybe we can swap Nicky for one of their wingers.
Bendtner is far from the finished article but he can develop nicely and be a force in a few years, he should be out on loan and playing regularly. Arshavin can help us now.
im still confident in bendtner’s potential and hes been making a difference lately. i cant see him goign anywhere in jan.
sounds like arshavin deal still might happen tho ;o

personally i think niklas might well become a great player a few years down the line. i would put him on a long term contract if he isn’t already and loan him out for two years to a club where he is likely to get plenty of games.
that way he gets to play, get experience and improve. we don’t have to pay his wages and if he turns great then we simply claim him back, if not we sell on at probably a higher fee.
